FAQ

Assembly:

The glass buttons are easy to sew on the clothing and have either a "glass eye" or a "brass eye" attached to the back of the button to fasten the button to the clothing. It is important to know that there is a difference in the size of the hole on the two "Eyes".

The "glass eye" has a small hole and must be attached with sewing thread and a sewing needle, as ordinary yarn cannot pass through the hole.

The "brass eye" can be attached with a needle and a thicker thread as yarn, as the hole is larger.

Maintenance:

Hand painted glass buttons can be hand washed together with your needlework and knitting

Irregularities:

The glass buttons are all handmade and some are also hand painted, whereby irregularities and variations in color and pattern can occur.

Weight:

The glass buttons are not heavy and weigh between 2g and 6g per button

Sizes:

The glass buttons can be compared to the size of coins, so the following buttons fit:

18mm, the same size as a 1 crown

22mm, the same size as a 10 krone

26mm, the same size as a 20 krone

Glass:

Glass can have sharp edges that can cut into textiles, but these Glass Buttons are polished by hand so that all edges are ground soft and round.

Durable:

The glass buttons are very durable and will not break when they hit a hard edge or are dropped on the floor. But should it still happen, please send the complaint to info@finedetail,dk and we will be happy to replace if possible.
